A destination wedding

This weekend we went to our friend's wedding at Fort Edmonton Park. Mel and Chris made it a lovely day from start to finish. I did the hair in the morning and early afternoon, and then we were able to just relax and enjoy the day.

Mel and Chris spared no detail to make the day fun and memorable, and very genuine and moving. We all felt included and important.
Mel's niece and my buddy Hannah decorated this cake for them.
They were bestowed with the "Bride Box" from our wedding, and, keeping with tradition, it was carried by a man, Issac in this case.

Spring

Every year when the tulips start coming up it's a totally surprise to me because I didn't plant them, so I don't expect them. This year we seem to have a bumper crop, but I'm not sure if they are all going to open. It was about 26 degrees last week so they raced out of the ground to greet the spring, but then it turned cooler and they are keeping their buds shut, waiting for some sunshine. Last year, and the year before it snowed on them and they still survived. The birds are chirping, the trees are budding and we have the start of tulips. I guess it's Spring.

Congratulations Dustin!!!

On his first day back to work a big package arrived in the mail. Inside was the above certificate, 2 College of the Rockies t-shirts featuring "The Bent", the second building Dustin's class put up, and a letter of recommendation from Dustin's instructor.

Dustin was very kind to purchase a t-shirt for me as well, so now we are all matchy-matchy poo! Hello Christmas Picture! (poor Moofut did not get a shirt)
